Each year, Yarn/Wire participates as a visiting guest ensemble in numerous university residencies throughout the US.
As part of these visits, the quartet spends time working closely with composers realizing new works in public performances or as recordings, with performers on the interpretation of new music, and with members of the local community who are curious about our field. We value sharing our experience as 21st century musicians, and offer a behind-the-scenes look at one way that ensemble life can be today.
