Yarn/Wire Currents is a commissioning series started in 2013. Focused on the creation of new works specifically for Yarn/Wire, the series serves as an incubator for experimentation in which a wide range of musicians, artists and composers explore intersections of composition, technology, installation, improvisation, live performance, music theater and more, in an effort to expand the ensemble’s performance practice and reflect music’s fluidity and reach. The 2024 edition of Yarn/Wire Currents features 3 world premieres by composers Jad Atoui, Bryan Jacobs, and Seong Ae Kim.

$20 advance, $25 doors, $15 Student/Senior (w/ ID, Senior 65+), doors open at 7pm

A livestream will be available on the Roulette website free of charge at 8pm on the day of the performance and archived for future viewing.
